Bucky Larson: Born to become a Star: Film Review

It's telling when Adam Sandler creates a movie but does not cast themself within the leading role. The most recent effort in the comedy auteur stars his frequent cohort Nick Swardson like a buck-toothed, under-endowed Iowan farm boy who journeys to Hollywood to become porn star. Regrettably, the R rating will stop the audience -- namely teenage boys who find penis jokes forever amusing - from seeing this non-stop unfunny and vulgar effort until it turns up on video and cable. Not remarkably, the distributor rejected to screen the film ahead of time for experts. Bucky is really a new supermarket bag boy who finds out throughout a masturbation lesson carried out by his useful buddies that his loving parents (Edward Herrmann, Miriam Flynn) are really former porn stars in the '70s. One of the supporting gamers whose talents are wasted are Christina Ricci, highly appealing like a sweet waitress who takes an unaccountable shine to Bucky Kevin Nealon, held in a 1-note role as Bucky's constantly aggrieved roommate and Stephen Dorff, like a rival porn star.
