Soderberghs Liberace Film Going to HBO

Steven Soderberg Long in development and laden with Oscar-winning talent, the Liberace biopic by Steven Soderbergh will be made for HBO, the network announced Tuesday. Check out the rest of the day's news on TVGuide.com Behind the Candelabra will star Michael Douglas as the entertainer-pianist and Matt Damon as his lover Scott Thorson, with whom Liberace had a stormy relationship. Richard LaGravenese is lined up to pen the script. Behind the Candelabra will start shooting next summer; no air date has been scheduled.
